Rideau View Golf Club
Winners, 2025 OVGA Senior Women's Intersectionals, A Division
For the second year in a row, the team from Rideau View Golf Club won the Division A title of the 2025 OVGA Senior Women's Intersectionals. Playing on their home course against many talented golfers from The Royal Ottawa Golf Club, Hautes Plaines Golf Club and Hylands Golf Club, Rideau View remains at the pinnacle of the 11 Intersectionals divisions (A through K) and 44 clubs, and retains the Brenda Buck Memorial Trophy. Congratulations!!
An honourable mention goes to the Senior Women's team from Camelot Golf & Country Club, who posted a perfect score of 42 in Division B. All seven players, Luce Gougeon, Francine Beauchamp, Christine Lacroix, Liette Hebert, Guylaine Doucet, Dawn Maxwell and Liz McCourt won all of their matches, earning 6 points each. According to OVGA Historian, Joe McLean, this marks only the third time that a Senior Women's team has had a perfect score. The women now share bragging rights with the men at Camelot, who had a perfect score of 60 in Division L in 1992. Well done, ladies, and best of luck in Division A next year!
