2025 Tournament of Club Champions Presented by La-Z-boy

All good things come to an end, and so it is for our 2025 OVGA competitive golf season.  The superlative Hylands Golf Club was once again the host for our season finale, the OVGA Tournament of Club Champions, presented by La-z-boy Home Furnishings & Décor.  This event brings together all of this year's champions from each of our Member Clubs to see who is the best of the best, and a last chance at bragging rights until next season.

The Women started us off on Monday, September 29th in some very warm fall weather.  Lise Jubinville (Hylands) had four birdies with no bogies on her way to an outstanding score of 68 (-4) and the A Class title.  After the round, Lise hinted that this might be her best competitive score on her home course!  Leanne Stoppa (Oaks of Cobden) took home the B Class honours, while Brooke Heisel (Prescott) battled it out for a one-shot victory in a very close C Class race.  In the Senior Women’s Division, Leanne Watt (Smiths Falls) chipped in for birdie from well out on the first playoff hole to edge past Lynn Arnone (Rideau View).  Click here to see the full results of the Women's Championship.
